TVET KNEC Registration Deadline Closes Tomorrow: Kenya Coast National Polytechnic Examination Office Issues Final Advisory

The Examination Office at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic has issued a final reminder to all departments and students that the KNEC TVET examination registration closes tomorrow, Monday, 12th May 2025. The Polytechnic emphasizes that only fully registered and cleared candidates will be eligible to sit for the upcoming exams, in line with KNEC’s guidelines.

1. Online Registration is Mandatory

All KNEC examinations, including TVET, are registered through KNEC’s official online portals. Each examination category has a designated portal that institutions must access using their official credentials. The Polytechnic Examination Office warns that manual or late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

2. No Late Registration

The deadline for registration is strictly enforced by KNEC. The Examination Office reiterates that any attempt to register after 12th May 2025 will not be honored. Students and departments must act immediately to avoid being locked out.

3. Registration Process & Document Submission

To complete registration, the following must be done:

  • Departments must log into the appropriate KNEC portal.
  • All candidate details must be entered accurately.
  • The nominal roll (list of registered candidates) must be downloaded, printed, signed, stamped, and thoroughly verified.
  • All registration documents, including the signed nominal roll and fee statements, must be submitted to the Examination Office before the deadline.

4. Fee Clearance is Mandatory

The Examination Office has made it clear that:

  • Only students who have cleared their tuition and examination fees will be registered.
  • Students must submit their updated fee statements along with the registration documents.
  • Departments are advised to ensure that no registration is processed for students with pending balances.

5. Important Notes from the Examination Office

  • The registration window is communicated via KNEC circulars, and institutions must follow the provided guidelines without deviation.
  • Extreme caution must be taken when entering candidate information, particularly for repeat candidates and those with previous examination history.
  • Students are encouraged to personally verify the accuracy of their registration details before final submission.

Final Advisory

With just hours left before the closure of the registration portal, the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic Examination Office urges departments to complete all processes promptly. This includes confirming student clearance, uploading details, verifying the nominal roll, and submitting all required documents.

“Registration is not considered complete until both the system and the Examination Office have received and verified all required documents and payment confirmations,” stated an Examination Office representative.
