According to Fichajes, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has identified Fermin Lopez as a key target. The Premier League champions are reportedly ready to make an offer in the region of €60 million to secure the 22-year-old Spanish midfielder.
Fermin stands out from the usual La Masia mold. Technically gifted and attack-minded, he thrives in advanced midfield roles and is known for his late runs into the box—a style reminiscent of a “shadow striker” in football parlance.
Since making his first-team debut under Xavi Hernandez, Fermin has grown in importance, particularly throughout the 2024/25 season under Flick. Despite his growing influence, competition for a starting spot at Barcelona remains fierce.
